Commitment to practice-based learning that is immersive, unique and accessible.

Caribou Sonore’s workshop programs vary in format — from multi-day masterclasses to standalone workshops for non-specialists, our approach is one of radical inclusivity: we believe that there is a place for everyone in music, and our role is to help create the spaces for those experiences to occur. Over the years, our work has taken on many guises: lecture-demonstrations, one-on-one masterclasses, group ateliers, and hands-on training. As part of our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility, all workshops are offered free of charge for participants.

Caribou Sonore’s atelier programs gave me the chance to meet, work with and learn from artists I wouldn’t have had the chance to meet otherwise. Their project was invaluable to me as a young artist.
